’s been my steadfast belief for some time now that John Mayer is one of my generation’s musical beacons. The kind of artist that when we’re all old, grey and in-charge, we’ll remember with the kind of affection and respect that my parent’s generation do Clapton or McCartney.
I’m a sucker for a young band that can really nail a sound from the past. And this song does that better than nearly anything I’ve heard in the past ten years.

What a movie. For a music loving nostalgia tragic like myself, there’s nothing better than this kind of story. Young man discovers self through a journey filled with outrageous experiences that, because they’re attached to the life of a band, are actually believable.
Blink 182 are quite possibly responsible for the man I am today. In hindsight, that explains a lot.
